Sustainability

There are various definitions of what ‘Sustainability’ means. Brundtland World Commission on the Environment and Development puts it this way, “Sustainable Development meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” In other words we don’t want to ruin the earth for future generations.

All generations must be able to sustain, support, maintain, endure, and survive. The ability of the current generation to reduce its impact on the earth’s limited resources, will directly impact the ability of the current and future generations to endure and survive.
