“Long term unemployment, persistent underemployment and high cost of food, gas, utilities and rent are forcing more and more people to see emergency food.” Not everyone is as lucky as we are to have jobs to support themselves and their families. In spirit of the holiday season, Sumerra Portland Office collected food for the Oregon Food Bank to give back to our community and those in need.

The result was delightful. The whole office was able to gather 209 lbs food plus $100 worth of food from Sumerra staff.

All the food items were delivered to Oregon Food Bank on November 25th, 2014.
